Highly anticipated game --- Rematch --- Grudge Match --- Trash Talking… Everything seemed to fit this one, and it did. Everthing on the line and The Fonde was rocking… This game was very competitive for the first 3 quarters before Sirman Solutions pulled away and put the game on ice. Sirman Solutions were led by Brian Hamilton with 34 points, Micheal Harris 27 points and Carlos Hurt with 26 points to win their first Pro City Championship with a 138-122 victory . The Fonde All Stars were led by Charles Gaines with 31 points, Myron Allen with 25 points and Dwayne Rogers with 23 points in a losing effort to close out the season. Talk has already begun regarding next summer ---stay tuned. Congrats goes out to Coach Casey Williams and Sirman Solutions.
PLAYOFFS - MONDAY 8/11
GAME 1: Sirman Solutions 88 | Team Frank 78
#2 seed Sirman Solutions bounced back after it"s first regular season loss in two seasons with it's first ever playoff win in six seasons over Team Frank 88-78. Sirman Solutions (6-1) regular season record were led by Michel Harris 24 points followed by Brian Hamilton and Brandon Gay 18 points each. Sirman Solutions enters the Finals on Wednesday night following this victory. Team Frank the #3 seed and defending champs could not get it going in this one , struggled to find some inside play so desperately needed. Team Frank bows out of the playoffs were led by the Goldwire brothers Anthony with 28 and LeeMire with 15.
GAME 2: Fonde All-Stars 90 | Chairman 73
# 1 seed Fonde All Stars rolled in this contest after being tested in the first half and broke open a closely contested game. The Fonde All-Stars were led by Myron Allen with 34 points and Dwayne Rogers with 24 to control this one in the second half. The Chairman entering there first ever playoff contest did all they could do in this contest but fell short. The Chairman were led by Mike James with 29 points and Morris Almond with 15. The Fonde All Stars rolls into the Finals on Wednesday night where a new CHAMPION will be crowned.
